Australian engineering major Worley has secured a major five-year project management consultancy agreement with energy giant Aramco to support its massive global capital program. Worley is one of 11 contractors selected for the long-term framework, which is aimed at safeguarding and scaling critical infrastructure across Saudi Arabia’s energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. The projects under this program will cater to both Saudi domestic demands and international markets.

Worley Consulting has entered into a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Aramco Overseas Company BV (Aramco), enhancing their existing global partnership. This agreement paves the way for future collaborations in the energy, resources, maritime, and infrastructure sectors throughout the EMEA region.

The chemicals and refining sectors are facing increasing pressure to adapt, driven by changes in global demand, evolving regulations, and a shift toward more complex and integrated complexes, allowing a complete conversion of the raw feedstocks into products with high added value.
