Pranav is a senior executive with over 20 years of global experience across the plastics and energy value chain in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Australasia. Having worked across sectors in FMCG, chemicals, and waste management, Pranav brings a strong understanding of the different drivers and perspectives of industry players and is a strong advocate for collaboration to solve the issue of plastic waste.

Pranav has a deep passion for sustainability. Over the last three years with the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, he has been instrumental in the development of waste management infrastructure and showcasing new blended finance & public-private business models in Asia and Africa while de-risking innovative technologies in Europe and North America. Currently, he is responsible for the Alliance’s global strategy in recycling solutions, including leading industry projects in advanced sorting (HolyGrail 2.0) and state-of-art recycling of household flexibles (ValueFlex).

Previously, Pranav led cross-functional teams in new product development/packaging design for Kraft Foods/Cadbury (now Mondelez/Kraft Heinz). In Shell, he has managed global businesses with P&L responsibility and led strategic deals and new venture development including sustainability across the upstream-chemical-plastic interfaces.
