Marco’s career has been one dedicated to the chemicals and plastics industry. After working for Air Products and Arkema he join Braskem 2010 responsible marketing polyolefins imported from Brazil in Europe. Marco held several leadership positions in Braskem’s renewable chemicals and circular economy organizations and is now the Business Director EMEA for biopolymers and the Director of Advocacy and Sustainability in Europe. Marco is also one of the founding board members of Holland Bioplastics and was in the board until December 2018 and is currently the vice chairman of Plastics Europe’s Strategic Committee 1 for Climate & Production.
