José Matthijsse

A Dutch native, José Matthijsse, is a true global citizen. After having worked over twenty years in the FMCG industry in different parts of the world she is currently, since 2021, President Europe at SIG, a Swiss-based packaging and packaging technology company.

At SIG we partner with our customers with a variety of aseptic packaging solutions covering a wide range of occasions from on-the-go, home consumption to food service. We partner with our customers on the technical solution to package their product in the best possible way, conserving the nutritional value of the product and the sensory qualities and we support our customers in CO2 reduction. Circularity is an important part of that.

José Matthijsse holds an Engineering degree of the Wageningen Agricultural University, the Netherlands. She is married and has two sons.
