Gianni Guastone is Head of Eni’s AI Center of Excellence, focusing on Data and Artificial Intelligence. The AI ​​Center of Excellence is a hub of advanced skills, fostering the cross- fertilization of knowledge and the development of key skills needed to address the challenges of the ongoing digital transformation.

After 15 years of consulting experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas sector, he began his career in Eni’s Information Technology department in 2013, gaining solid experience in managing complex programs and projects and developing innovative solutions for optimizing business and industrial processes in the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream sectors.

The Artificial Intelligence Center promotes the development and adoption of cutting-edge technologies, but also stands out for its ability to translate technology into concrete and adoptable products and solutions, enabling new operating models and generating business value.

Committed to ongoing training and the dissemination of digital skills, Gianni Guastone plays a central and key role in transformation programs. He interacts with business teams, with peers and innovation ecosystems, placing the strategic growth of his own digital skills and that of his colleagues at the heart of his actions.
