Fanis Christakopoulos

Fanis Christakopoulos is a qualified Mechanical Engineer specializing in energy, holding a Master's Degree in “Energy Management and Production” from the National Technical University of Athens. With extensive experience in renewable energy project management, alternative sustainable fuels, and strategic energy planning, he has successfully led diverse projects focused on the energy transition. He has worked as an Energy Consultant and Energy Project Manager, and currently serves as Project Management Expert in the European Affairs Directorate of Motor Oil Group. In this capacity, he supports the integration of European and national co-funded programs into Motor Oil Group’s investment plans, fostering innovative projects aligned with EU sustainability objectives, particularly in renewable energy, hydrogen technologies, and alternative sustainable fuels.
