Graduated from the Baku State University, specialized in Applied Mathematics and Economical Cybernetics.
Started Career as joining offshore development in Azerbaijan as part of McDermott Caspian.
Soon after was awarded with SOCAR scholarship and continued education in Ecole du Pétrole et des Moteurs (IFP) and Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and get master’s degree in petroleum economics and Management.
After graduation joined Total E&P’s Project Development Department as intern. Later started working at SOCAR’s Oil-Gas Research and Design İnstitute and the moved to SOCAR’s Downstream division in 2009. In 2011, joined SOCAR’s Oil & Gas Processing and Petrochemical Complex (OGPC) Project. From 2011 to 2016 held different positions within project, till Deputy General Director responsible for execution. Starting from 2016 moved to department for the Management of Revamp Projects as Deputy Director, and soon later appointed as Department Director.
As a follow up, assigned to companies Turkey operations and involved in the startup of STAR Refinery and several other projects acting as Project Director in SOCAR Turkey’s Project Management Office and then as Business Development and Venture Management Group Director.
Starting from 2020, he was assigned to SOCAR Downstream as Deputy Managing Director and appointed as the Project Director of the HAOR Modernization and Reconstruction project.
