Andrey Kostin graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Department of Organic Chemistry.
He began his career in the field of basic research of heterogeneous catalysis and chelate extraction of minor actinides in the disposal of spent nuclear fuel. Author of several scientific publications on these topics.
Co-author of the patent of the Russian Federation. In parallel with the research activities in 2007 came to journalism. Specialised in the subject areas of exploration and production of oil and gas, oil refining.
In 2009, he started working in the field of petrochemicals. In 2009-2011, created and directed the new industry magazine “Petrochemicals in Russian Federation.” In parallel, since 2010 participated in the creation of information and analytical centre RUPEC, and in 2011 became its leader. The author of two editions of the book “Popular petrochemicals.”
