Adrian-Valentin Boicea

Adrian-Valentin Boicea (male) is a senior scientific researcher 2nd degree, with 20 years of experience in R&D projects. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages, German department, at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. He holds a codirected PhD in electrical engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, and University Politehnica of Bucharest. Currently, his research interests involve artificial intelligence, big data, power system analysis, time series forecasting and distributed generation. Dr. Boicea has participated in 11 research projects and is member of the IEEE organization. He received the 2021 IEEE-PES Romania Chapter Outstanding Engineer Award. Currently, he is associate professor within the Department of Electrical Power Systems, National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest
