Recyc’Elit is an innovative French company that has developed a patented, low-impact chemical process for recycling complex polyester-based textiles intended for landfilling or incineration. The rPET obtained has the same quality as virgin PET. Since the process is selective to polyester and takes place at mild conditions, co-materials (elastane, polyamide, cotton, etc.) are intact and can also be valorised. Thus, it is a 100% circular process.
Recyc’Elit is currently working on a pre-industrial demonstrator (10 tonnes of textile waste per year).
