Green Energy Corridor

The Green Energy Corridor Power Company (GECO) is a joint venture established to implement the Green Energy Corridor project, a high-voltage direct current submarine cable connecting Georgia and Romania across the Black Sea. The company, registered in Romania, is a collaboration between energy operators from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, and Hungary.

Its purpose is to facilitate the transmission of green energy, primarily from renewable sources, between these countries and potentially extend to other parts of Europe.
