Russia plans to increase petrochemical exports by $14.6 billion by 2024

According to the national project “International Cooperation and Export”, the export of Russian petrochemical products should increase from $22.4 billion in 2019 to $37 billion in 2024, “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” reports.

According to the “road map” of the project, the size of the global petrochemical market is estimated at $4.5 trillion, and by 2030 it will almost double.

The document specifies that “one ruble of gross domestic product in oil and gas chemistry creates an additional 1.9 rubles of gross domestic product in the economy through the development of processing and consuming synthetic products, as well as related industries — engineering, engineering and others.”
