Rusnano and Samruk-Kazyna are planning investments in medium-tonnage chemistry

The Rusnano Synthesis Foundation and the United Chemical Company LLP (a subsidiary of the Kazakhstan National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna) are considering joint investments in medium-tonnage chemistry technology, Rupec reports.

On February 7, at the office of RUSNANO OJSC (Moscow), the parties signed a Memorandum of Intent, thereby expressing interest in creating a platform for joint investment. The document defines the basic conditions for interaction and a schedule of further activities.

The signing took place during the visit of the delegation of United Chemical Company LLP and Samruk-Kazyna to Russia, including the visit to the industrial site of Synthesis OKA Group of Companies (Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region). The guests were introduced to the implementation of the investment project of the Rusnano-Sintez Foundation to create the production of alkyl ethanolamines and exchanged experience in this direction.

A possible partnership also involves the implementation of projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Already this month, a return visit of the Russian delegation to the city of Nur-Sultan (Republic of Kazakhstan) will take place to work out further agreements and actions for the implementation of joint projects.
