Kazakhstan plans to invest $15 billion in the petrochemical industry by 2025

Kazakhstan expects to implement several new projects in the downstream sector in the period up to 2025. Total investment is estimated at $15 billion. Such data was announced by the press service of the head of state, RUPEC reports

The President was informed that by 2025 it is planned to implement projects in the petrochemicals industry totaling $15 billion.

The press service quoted Minister of Energy, Nurlan Nogayev at a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan

The Minister said that in parallel, work is underway on the project to expand the Tengiz field, which will increase oil production by 12 million tons by the end of 2022.
