Galp’s sustainability strategy wins gold medal in SP Global’s Sustainability Yearbook

Galp was awarded a gold medal in the 2022 edition of the Sustainability Yearbook, produced by S&P Global. The evaluation was based on the criteria considered most relevant in all dimensions of sustainability in Galp's activity, and the Company obtained an overall score of 82 points. - Galp

The results disclosed by S&P Global indicate that Galp achieved the best records in the environmental and social areas, with scores of 93 and 86, respectively, representing the highest values obtained among peers in the Oil&Gas Upstream & Integrated industry.

The criteria "Climate Strategy", "Water-related Risks", "Labor Practice Indicators", "Environmental Reporting" and "Social Reporting" were those in which Galp's sustainability performance stood out the most in the S&P Global assessment.

This is another distinction that confirms Galp's strong commitment to sustainability and to the best practices in the industry, in all parameters of our activity and in all countries where we operate.

The 2022 Sustainability Yearbook counted on the participation of more than 2,100 companies - representing more than 45% of the global market capitalization - in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment. In all, more than 7,500 companies were evaluated for potential inclusion in this yearbook, considered one of the most complete compilations on corporate sustainability.
