Lummus Technology has released a new white paper, “From Ambitions to Results: How Lummus is Turning Innovation and Momentum into Real-World Industrial Solutions,” outlining how scalable technologies and digital innovation can help industries across Central and Eastern Europe meet decarbonisation goals while maintaining energy security and competitiveness.
Written by President and CEO Leon de Bruyn, the paper emphasises the importance of commercially proven solutions that integrate with existing infrastructure rather than requiring complete system replacement.
The white paper highlights Lummus’ progress in sustainable aviation fuels, plastics and tyre recycling, biopolymers, hydrogen and electrification technologies, as well as digital optimisation tools designed to improve plant efficiency and reduce emissions.
Through Lummus Digital — a joint venture with TCG Digital — and the recent acquisition of the NAPCON digital portfolio from Neste, the company is expanding its AI-driven operational and process optimisation capabilities.
According to the paper, the next phase of the energy transition will depend on turning policy ambition into measurable industrial results through technologies that are scalable, efficient and ready for deployment today.
The white paper concludes that the next stage of the energy transition will be defined by execution rather than ambition alone.
As regulatory pressure increases and timelines tighten, industries will need proven technologies, experienced partners and disciplined implementation strategies to convert climate commitments into measurable progress.

Energy major OMV Petrom has secured a landmark green energy supply deal, signing the largest physical solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in Romania’s history.
