The 6th edition of the Go Net Zero Energy Summit – Central & Eastern Europe will take place on 10-11 June 2026 in Bucharest, Romania. This premier energy transition summit unites senior decision‑makers from across the energy value chain in Central and Eastern Europe. It includes policymakers, investors, technology innovators, industrial leaders and regulators. The summit’s mission is to bridge the gap between net‑zero ambition and practical implementation. Moreover, it aims to equip delegates with strategic insights and real-world frameworks to drive the region’s transition to sustainable energy.
The two-day summit features a dynamic programme that combines high-level presentations, interactive panels, and networking opportunities. On the first day, delegates will attend a welcome session and evening networking reception. This sets the stage for discussions on regional energy trends. For example, it will cover balancing security, affordability, and sustainability, as well as financing and executing green projects.
The second day will dive into practical solutions for modernising the CEE grid, scaling renewables, exploring geothermal opportunities, decarbonising hard-to-abate sectors, and advancing green hydrogen, sustainable aviation fuels, and circular chemicals. The summit will close with a high-impact debate. This debate will assess whether Central and Eastern Europe is on track to meet its 2030 net-zero targets.
The summit’s programme has been shaped by a distinguished Advisory Board, including senior energy leaders such as Tomasz Jarmicki, Director at ORLEN S.A.; Adam Horvath, VP at MOL Group; Alastair Hammond, CEO of Rezolv Energy; Iben Furst Frimann-Dahl, Partner at Rystad Energy; Edward van Kersbergen, CEO of Mazarine Energy; and Mark Beacom, CEO of Black Sea Oil and Gas. Their guidance ensures the agenda is both relevant and actionable for the region’s energy and policy landscape.
Now in its sixth edition, the Go Net Zero Energy Summit remains the premier platform for stakeholders in Central and Eastern Europe to gain first-hand market intelligence, explore investment opportunities, and connect with the innovators shaping the region’s sustainable energy future.
