Belgium based CCUS
and hydrogen projects

According to a report from the Global CCS Institute, Belgium is among the leaders in CCS commercial facilities. In preparation for the 3rd Go Net Zero Energy and Go Hydrogen events (20-22 September 2022, Brussels), we have made an overview of the publicly announced Belgium-based CCUS and hydrogen projects to showcase Belgium’s potential in this field.

Additionally, current developments show that Belgium could effectively join the leading countries in Europe for the deployment of renewable or low-carbon hydrogen, given the interest expressed by several local energy and industrial companies, the different concrete initiatives, and first investments

What projects will you find in this overview?

Leilac, C4U, Carbon2Values, Power to Methanol Antwerp, Antwerp@C, Kairos@C, North-C-Hydrogen, BE Project, HyOffWin, Hydrolog, Hyport

Please note that the list might not be exhaustive, if you would like to add a project to the list, please get in touch with us.
