VISIT THE FIRST EUROPEAN CIRCULAR HUB
This an exclusive offer only for Go Circular 2024 delegates
📅 18th Apr 2024
On the 18th of April, after the main event, Go Circular attendees will go on an exciting, guided tour to the Brightlands Chemelot Campus and Chemelot Industrial Park.
Brightlands Chemelot Campus is an innovation hotspot in the heart of the largest chemical industry cluster in Europe. With Brightlands Circular Space as the new flagship initiative, the campus will expand its circular materials ecosystem in the coming years with an open space demonstrator on the circularity of plastics. The tour will show you more about this new initiative, and you will visit some interesting companies and facilities of the current circular materials' ecosystem.
The campus relates to the activities on Chemelot Industrial Park, EU's second largest highly integrated chemical cluster. A unique place where research & development and production have been very successfully connected for approximately hundred years. Chemelot Industrial Park has the ambition to become the most sustainable chemical and materials site in Europe and wants to produce 7,5 billion kg of products per year in a climate neutral way before 2050.
During the tour, you will discover that Chemelot Industrial park already made significant steps in that direction. Together with the campus and other regional parties Chemelot is part of EU’s first circular hub.
