The Downstream Caspian and Central Asia conference is a large-scale industry meeting with the goal of helping companies grow their businesses and find new customers.

Regular participants include project owners in the refining and petrochemicals industry in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the leading international technology & engineering companies.

Market overview and analysis of the impact of coronavirus on the downstream sector in Central Asia

In this session we will discuss issues such as how has the pandemic affected the industry so far and what impact will it have in the near future? What are the new priorities of Central Asian countries and projects? What is the potential of the gas market in Central Asia?

Investment potential of Central Asia

One of the priorities for the Central Asian countries is to attract international investment in the downstream industry as a priority sector of the economy. Also here we will hear how governments in Central Asia are involved in attracting investment to the region.

Digitalisation and the pandemic

How has the pandemic affected the digitalisation and automation of the downstream sector in Central Asia? In this session, we will also hear the practical experience of digitalisation of business processes from representatives of regional refineries and oil & gas companies.

Overview of downstream projects in Central Asia

We will analyze in detail the promising projects of the region. Among the invited companies are Uzbekneftegaz, KazMunayGas, SOCAR, Lukoil in Uzbekistan and Uzkimyosanoat

Round tables with refinery and oil & gas company representatives in Central Asia

During these round table discussions we will discuss what are the most important criteria for international investors, especially during a pandemic? Uzbekneftegaz will talk about its plans for further development and share about its other projects.
