Carbon capture and storage (CCS) has emerged as a pivotal set of technologies in Europe’s fight against climate change. With the urgency of climate targets approaching, the deployment race is on to scale CCS solutions effectively.
The Central and Eastern European (CEE) region holds immense potential to become a global leader in CCS technologies, with several projects already demonstrating innovative approaches and substantial progress. Our session will showcase key CCS projects from across the CEE region, focusing on the innovative techniques and strategies these projects employ. We will engage project leaders and European stakeholders in a panel discussion on the next steps for driving CCS to commercial deployment and ensuring the CEE’s position at the forefront of global CCS innovation.
This webinar features innovative projects the European Innovation Fund selected that are pioneering CCS advancements in the CEE region. CATF is a global climate non-profit organization that promotes policy and technology changes to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.CATF is known for its advocacy and research work, often focusing on areas that other environmental organizations might overlook.
