Shell Chemicals Park Moerdijk balances production with environmental responsibility. Among other sustainable innovations, the facility has introduced a new unit for chemical recycling, which enables the reuse of plastics that are currently difficult to recycle. Additionally, Shell is taking steps to reduce CO2 emissions by implementing new, more energy-efficient furnaces and continuing to electrify its installations.
