Gazprom Neft at Downstream Project Management conference

Representatives of Gazprom Neft will attend our annual conference to discuss key challenges and best practices applicable for project management from the perspective of the third-largest producer in Russia and third according to refining throughput.

Gazprom Neft’s downstream projects are focused on refinery upgrades which are intended to increase the refining depth and efficiency, and the catalyst production project.

Recently the company has begun active construction of its modern high-tech oil-refining catalyst production facility in Omsk. This project aims to meet Russian refineries’ demand for modern and efficient cat-cracking and hydrotreatment catalysts necessary in producing Euro-5- standard gasoline and diesel fuels, as well as hydrocracking catalysts used in deep oil refining processes.

The Gazprom Neft's Board of Directors has also confirmed the company’s digital transformation strategy to 2030 and supports its implementation. This digital transformation process covers its entire value chain. New-technology-based changes at Gazprom Neft will help to improve flexibility and efficiency in business management, based on data and digital twins of assets.
