According to the “Energy of Azerbaijan” statistical yearbook released by the State Statistical Committee, the proportion of electricity generated from renewable sources increased significantly, from 5.5% in 2020 to 13.5% in 2024.

The publication also includes data on the installed capacity of power plants and overall electricity generation. The official report indicates that renewable energy sources accounted for 20.2% of the total installed electricity capacity.
The statistical collection “Energy of Azerbaijan” encompasses the national energy balance, commodity balance of energy products, and other essential energy statistics for the years 2020 to 2024.
