A delegation of senior executives responsible for new prospective projects and modernization at Kazmunaygas will be joining the Downstream Caspian and Central Asia conference in Nur-Sultan on 23-24 September.
The delegation will include the Head of Perspective Projects, Head of Future Projects and his deputy, Head of Projects Management & Refinery Modernization, Modernization and Perspective Projects Management Department Director, as well as the Prospective Projects Manager.
KazMunayGas is Kazakhstan’s national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons, representing the state in Kazakhstan’s petroleum sector.
Currently all three KazmunayGas oil refineries are undergoing the development and modernization projects as per the State program of industrial and innovative development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2019.
As a result of reconstruction and modernization, the capacity of plants for oil processing will amount to 16.6 million tons per year, it will be possible to produce petrochemical products (benzene and paraxylene) and significantly increase the output of light oil products.
